Road Advisories

Each construction season we are diligently working to maintain and improve our county road system. To make your travel more convenient in Warren County we have provided the following list of upcoming and current county road restrictions. Make note of whether to expect delays because of closures and/or currently under construction areas. If you are in need of more information, please call the WCEO at 513-695-3301.

Springboro Rd., Clearcreek Township, closed to traffic.

Lebanon, Ohio. Clearcreek Township, Warren County, Ohio – Beginning November 23, 2020 through November 25, 2020, Springboro Rd. shall be closed to traffic between Red Lion-Five Points Rd. and Hunters Crossing due to a utility pole relocation by Duke Energy. This is a daytime closure only, between the hours of 9am-3pm, weather permitting.

The detour utilized shall be Pekin Rd. to State Route 741 to Red Lion-Five Points Rd. Please adjust travel routes accordingly. Updates shall be following as they become available.

Columbia Road in Union Township is now open to traffic.

Lebanon, Ohio – Union Township –Columbia Road, Bridge #15-6.58, just west of the Turtlecreek Road intersection, is now open. The closure was due to an accident that damaged the bridge guardrail.

Section of King Avenue in Deerfield Township closed to traffic.

Lebanon, Ohio. Deerfield Township, Warren County, Ohio – Tomorrow, Tuesday October 6, 2020, A section of King Avenue in Kings-Mills shall be closed to traffic between Miami St. and Church St. for pavement repair due to a water main break. The closure shall be between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There shall be no detour listed, so please adjust travel routes accordingly.

Duke Blvd. at Socialville-Fosters Rd. closed to traffic.

Lebanon, Ohio. Deerfield Township, Warren County, Ohio – Effective immediately, Duke Blvd shall be closed to traffic at the intersection of Socialville-Fosters Rd. for resurfacing between the approximate hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. The resurfacing shall require a day-time closure only, and night-time hours are unaffected. Innovation Way shall be utilized as a detour route. Please adjust travel routes accordingly, and updates shall follow as they become available.

Duke Blvd. at Socialville-Fosters Rd. closed to traffic.

Lebanon, Ohio. Deerfield Township, Warren County, Ohio – Duke Blvd shall be closed to traffic at the intersection of Socialville-Fosters Rd. beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m. for the completion of utility installation that began yesterday. The work shall require a daytime closure only, and should re-open sometime this afternoon. Innovation Way shall be again utilized as a detour route. Please adjust travel routes accordingly. Updates shall be following as they become available.

Duke Blvd. at Socialville-Fosters Rd. closed to traffic.

Lebanon, Ohio. Deerfield Township, Warren County, Ohio – Effective immediately, Duke Blvd shall be closed to traffic at the intersection of Socialville-Fosters Rd. for utility installation. The repair work shall require a daytime closure only, and should re-open sometime this afternoon, and Innovation Way shall be utilized as a detour route. Please adjust travel routes accordingly. Indefinite Road Closure on Columbia Road in Union Township

Lebanon, Ohio – Union Township – Columbia Road, in Union Township, Bridge #15-6.58, just west of the Turtlecreek Road intersection, is closed due to damage resulting from an accident. The damage to the structure is significant, requiring an indefinite closure, until guardrail and bridge repairs can be made.

The detour for the closure utilizes Columbia Road, to Mason-Morrow-Millgrove Road, to SR 42.

Socialville-Fosters Rd. & Butler-Warren Rd. intersection temporary closure.

Lebanon, Ohio. Deerfield Township, Warren County, Ohio – The intersection of Socialville-Fosters Rd. and Butler-Warren Rd. shall be closed to traffic temporarily for the tentative time between 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. today for power pole replacement by Duke Energy. The detour shall be temporary and shall utilize Snider Rd. to Irwin-Simpson Rd., back to Butler-Warren Rd. Please adjust travel routes accordingly.

Morrow-Cozaddale Road now open.

Lebanon, Ohio – Hamilton Township, Warren County, Ohio – Morrow-Cozaddale Road, located between Mounts Road and Shamrock Drive, is now open. The closure was for the replacement of bridge #43-3.35, which was constructed by the Warren County Engineer’s Office Highway Department.

Edwardsville Rd., Harlan Township, open to traffic.

Lebanon, Ohio. Harlan Township, Warren County, Ohio – Edwardsville Rd. that was previously closed for tree removal, has been re-opened to traffic.

Lebanon, Ohio. Harlan Township, Warren County, Ohio – Effective immediately, Edwardsville Rd. shall be closed to traffic between addresses 5704 – 5660, for emergency tree removal. The closure is temporary and no detour shall be listed, so please adjust travel routes accordingly. Updates shall be following as they become available.

Wood Road daytime closure for two week.

Lebanon, Ohio – Turtlecreek and Union Townships, Warren County, Ohio – A road improvement project on Wood Road between Stubbs Mill Road and Phillips Road, shall require daytime closures for approximately (2) two weeks, beginning Wednesday, September 2, 2020, through September 18, 2020, weather permitting. The road improvement project is for the replacement of conduits, pavement repair and resurfacing. This project is funded by Turtlecreek Township, Union Township and Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC), and the work is being completed by Barrett Paving Material, Inc. for a price of $239,370.00. These closures are daily from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm only. The detour route is Phillips Road to Shawhan Road but there shall be no detour posted. Please adjust travel routes accordingly.

Long-Spurling Rd., Harlan Township, open to traffic.

Lebanon, Ohio. Harlan Township, Warren County, Ohio – Long-Spurling Rd. that was previously closed for rail line repair, has been re-opened to traffic.

Lebanon, Ohio. Harlan Township, Warren County, Ohio – Effective immediately, Long Spurling Rd. shall be closed to traffic between addresses 5062 - 5199 located at the CSX railroad crossing for emergency repairs to the existing rail. The repair work is unspecified, so no time frame is available, and there shall be no detour listed. Please adjust travel routes accordingly. Updates shall be following as they become available.

Wilmington Road Open to Traffic.

Lebanon, Ohio – Washington Township, Warren County, Ohio – Wilmington Road, south of the intersection of Wilmington Road and Corwin Road (Mather’s Mill Hill), is now open to traffic. The road was closed to construct a drilled pier wall to mediate hillside slippage that caused significant damage to the roadway. This construction project was completed by W.E. Smith Construction. The project was funded by the Warren County Engineer’s Office.

Deerfield Township, Warren County/West Chester Township, Butler County

Lebanon, Ohio – Deerfield Township, Warren County/West Chester Township, Butler County, Ohio - The Butler County Engineer's Office reports lane restrictions on Liberty Way/Mason Road and Butler Warren Road for an intersection improvement project beginning Monday, August 10, 2020. The $1 million project involves widening approximately 1250 feet along Liberty Way and 1300 feet along Butler Warren Road to accommodate additional left-turn lanes with modifications to the existing signals. Construction is expected to be completed the week of November 9, 2020.

Mason-Montgomery Road possible delays due to two week widening project.

Lebanon, Ohio – Deerfield Township, Warren County, Ohio – A road widening project on Mason-Montgomery Road at Sentinel Oak Drive, across from Fleckenstein Park, shall require intermittent delays for approximately (2) two weeks, beginning Monday, August 3, 2020, through August 14, 2020, weather permitting. The widening is for the addition of a northbound left turn lane into the Crooked Tree Preserve subdivision which is required by the Warren County Engineer’s Office. This project is funded by the Crooked Tree Preserve Developer, CT Devco, Inc., and the work is being completed by the John R. Jurgensen Company. These delays are during daylight hours only, and traffic shall be maintained. There shall be no detour listed, as the delays are temporary. Expect these delays in advance, and please adjust travel routes accordingly.

Shaker Road now open.

Lebanon, Ohio – Franklin Township, Warren County, Ohio – Shaker Road, located between SR122 and Manchester Road, is now open. The closure was for the replacement of bridge #48-3.98, which was constructed by the Warren County Engineer’s Office Highway Department.

Morrow-Woodville Rd., Harlan Township, closed to traffic for resurfacing.

Lebanon, Ohio – Harlan Township, Warren County, Ohio – Weather permitting, beginning August 3rd through August 5th, Morrow-Woodville Rd. shall be closed to traffic during daytime hours only, between State Route 28 & State Route 133 for resurfacing in both northbound and southbound lanes consecutively. Traffic shall not be maintained in the travel lanes while work crews are paving. Emergency vehicles shall be permitted through in emergency situations. There shall be no detour listed at this time, as the delays are temporary. Expect these delays in advance, and please adjust travel routes accordingly.

Morrow-Cozaddale Road to be closed for six weeks for a bridge replacement project.

Lebanon, Ohio – Hamilton Township, Warren County, Ohio – Morrow-Cozaddale Road, located between Mounts Road and Shamrock Drive, will be closed beginning Monday, August 10, 2020, through September 18, 2020, weather permitting. The closure is for the replacement of bridge #43-3.35, which is being constructed by the Warren County Engineer’s Office Highway Department.

The detour will utilize Fosters-Maineville Road to Morrow-Rossburg Road to Ludlum Road.

CANCELLED: Innovation Way, Deerfield Township, road closure.

Lebanon, Ohio – Deerfield Township, Warren County, Ohio – USA Cycling has cancelled the Cincinnati Cyclocross bike race scheduled for Sunday, July 19, 2020, on Innovation Way between Socialville-Fosters Rd. and Duke Blvd. due to Covid-19.

Overbrook Dr., Bridge #2080-0002 Immediate Closure.

Lebanon, Ohio – Deerfield Township, Warren County, Ohio – Bridge #2080-0002 located on Overbrook Dr., just east of US22/SR3, is being closed immediately after inspection discovered degradation of critical members of the bridge. The bridge shall be closed indefinitely until further repairs can be made to the structure. Detour for this closure shall utilize US22/SR3 and Hopkins Rd. Futher updates shall be forthcoming.
