The Warren County Engineer has general charge of the construction, reconstruction, improvement, maintenance, and repair of all Warren County bridges and roads under the jurisdiction of the Board of County Commissioners. The Bridge Maintenance Department oversees the upkeep of over 386 bridges. The bridges are those spans with an opening of ten feet or more. As required by Section 5543.20 of the Ohio Revised Code, bridges are inspected on an annual basis.
